Ibn tofail is a doctor and Muslim scholar who lived in Andalusia and Morocco between 1110 and 1185. "Al-Urjuza fi Tibb" is his main work in the medical field, It is a poem composed of 7700 verses in which Ibn Tofail treats several medical specialties in a general , analytical and accurate way based on the theory of the humours.
